Taiwo O. A. Ogunbodede [Esq.] is the Chief Executive Officer of Cross & Churchill Estates Limited. He also provides executive leadership for the Cross & Churchill Group as the Group Chief Executive Officer of the specialized and diversified entity comprising of Cross and Churchill Estates Limited, Cross and Churchill Realtors Limited and Cedar Oaks Dry-Cleaning Limited. He is a consummate lawyer and had gathered about a decade hands-on-experience in the financial services industry before establishing Cross and Churchill Realtors Limited in 2007.
Taiwo has nearly 18 years of rich and robust legal and realty expertise. He previously worked at Zenith Bank Plc, Oceanic Bank Plc (now Ecobank Plc), Wema Bank Plc and Magnum Trust Bank Plc (now Sterling Bank Plc). He possesses specialist competencies in real estate development and practice, trust and general trusteeship functions. He bagged his first degree in Biochemistry from the prestigious University of Ibadan , Ibadan , Nigeria . He later proceeded to the United States to enrol for Pharmacy. He obtained his Doctorate Degree at the University of Maryland , Baltimore in 1996. As part of his professional calling, Dr. Adekoya has held several positions in various medical organisations, among which is Pharmacy Manager, Rite-aid Pharmacy, Hyattsville , Maryland , where he was responsible for the management of pharmacy operations and personnel.
He was a Clinical Pharmacist at the Washington Hospital Center, Washington D.C, and also an Assistant Clinical Professor (Clinical Rotations), School of Pharmacy , University Of Maryland . Mrs. Omolara Taiwo-Ogunbodede is a trained lawyer by profession. She graduated from the University of Ado Ekiti , (formerly Ondo State University ) in 1997 with a Second Class (Upper Division). She thereafter attended the Nigerian Law School where she also graduated with honours in the Second Class (Upper Division). She also holds a Graduate Diploma in Purchasing and Supply from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply , United Kingdom.
Lara has vast experience in the Financial and Oil & Gas Sector. She began her career at the then Continental Trust Bank (now part of the UBA Group) as a legal officer and worked on several key transactions from where she gained invaluable experience in financial legal documentation, securitisation and drafting of various agreements. She joined her present employer, one of the foremost global players in the Oil & Gas Sector in 2001 as a Legal Counsel.
She possesses vast international experience in oil and gas negotiation having worked on and continues to work on multi-billion dollar projects, acquisitions, dispute resolution and management, financing agreements, EPC contracts, international commercial agreements and various forms of Host Government Contracts.
